Seven years ago, I wanted to make a special gift for my son’s first birthday. I decided to write down a story that had been rambling around in my head since his birth and attempted to illustrate it. With that, my first book “Mr. Bunnyman” was born. For the next five years I followed his milestones and took ideas from his own life and published a new book for each of his birthdays.  In 2017 I made a New Year’s resolution to paint. I picked up some acrylics and decided to give them a try. I fell in love with using vibrant color and working with paint. I gravitated towards painting animals and the challenge of capturing their spirit.  In October of 2017 I took the big leap and left my corporate job of 20 years and decided to pursue art full time. I started with a single painting of a cow and now have over 22 animals in my collection. To share my work, I’ve translated each original painting to cards, magnets, and prints, and sewn them into pillows.  I hope my creations bring you as much joy as they’ve brought to me.

I am a self taught artist and have been creating for approximately 10 years.  I enjoy working in both oils and acrylics but most of my pieces are mixed media.

My art arises from my inner world and my life experience. As a 57 year old woman I have seen and felt quite a bit of life, I tell that story with my art.

I am of Argentine descent and I work as a medical interpreter and have done so for 20 years and still love my work.

I live,  love, work and create art in Kent.
